Icon Gadget offers a user-friendly interface for searching icons using the Icon Finder service. Icon Finder has a huge quantity of high-quality icons ready to be downloaded at no cost. This service is great for web designers and developers since it allows them to find and choose the icons they need in an easy and efficient way.
This interface makes the searching very easy. All you have to do is enter the keyword that you want to use for your search and press the magnifier button. Very quickly, you will see the list of found icons, with some details about each one of them, such as a thumbnail of the icon, a button that will show you the details about that icon (designer, license, icon set, sizes to download, attribution, tags), the size of the displayed icon, and a flip option that will let you access a menu that will let you share the icon via email, Twitter or Facebook. At the bottom of each icon, the program will inform you about the code assigned to the icon in the database. If you click on an icon, you will download it in a .PNG file.
This program runs on the AIR platform. You will need to have Adobe AIR installed in your system in order to be able to use it.
